11th Conference of TPLF kicks off in Mekelle
Addis Ababa, March 18 (WIC) – The 11th Conference of Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) kicked off on yesterday at the Martyrs Monument in Mekelle town of Tigray state with various assortments.
The four-day Conference is being held with the theme “Conference Meles for growth and success”.
The opening session attracted delegates of various countries and political parties who expressed solidarity with TPLF. 1,500 participants are in attendance of the conference.
Meanwhile, residents of Mekelle town and its environs have joined forces in conveying support to TPLF and wishing success to the Front’s 11th Conference.
Addressing the crowd, chairperson of TPLF, Abay Woldu said the Front would work to bring sustained development and ensure the benefit of the wider public.
He called on the people of Tigray to do their level best as usual for the realization of the decisions to be passed by the 11th TPLF conference. (ERTA)
