10th ANDM regular session kicks off

Addis Ababa, March 17 (WIC) - The 10th regular conference of the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM) kicked off on Saturday in Bahir Dar town of Amhara Regional State.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, ANDM Chairperson, Demeke Mekonnen said ANDM’s last two year programs were successfully accomplished.
The conference is expected to deliberate on the past two and a half years implementation of the Growth and Transformation Plan and forward direction for the implementation of the plan in the remaining years.

The conference being attended by 1,300 participants has a theme: “We shall ensure our renaissance journey by realizing the Growth and Transformation Plan”.
The conference that would last for three days would also choose members of Central Committee that would lead the organization until the next meeting.
