Ethiopia , Japan keen to enhance bilateral relation

Addis Ababa, March 17 (WIC) -Ethiopia and Japan expressed desire to further strengthen existing bilateral relation in the trade and investment sectors.
Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn and the Japanese Foreign Affairs Minister Fumio Kishida here on Saturday discussed on bilateral affairs of the two countries.

Hailemariam on the occasion called on Japanese investors to engage in various development activities in Ethiopia.
He also called on Japan to provide support to Ethiopia’s development endeavors in different sectors and expressed Ethiopia's desire to draw experiences from Japan in industrial development and other sectors.

The Japanese Minister on his part lauded Ethiopia's contribution towards success of development activities of TICAD in Africa.
He said his government will provide the necessary support to Japanese investors to help them engage in development sectors in Ethiopia.
Meanwhile, the Premier held talks with Japanese private sector members and officials of different countries.(ENA)
