Over 10,000 condos transferred to beneficiaries

Addis Ababa, March 11 (WIC) - The Addis Ababa City Administration here Sunday transferred more than 10,000 condominium houses to beneficiaries.

City Mayor Kuma Demekssa on the occasion said the administration is striving to solve housing shortage in the city.

Construction of the condos is underway based on the needs of the public with low and middle income, he said.

Kuma said various activities are underway towards development of the city.

Construction and Housing Development Office Head with the Administration, Getachew Hailemariam on his part said thousands of condos are under construction to curb housing shortage in the city.

According to ENA, the administration so far constructed more than 92,000 condos including the present ones.
