Ali Suleiman becomes member of AU Advisory Board on Corruption

Addis Ababa, February 7, 2013 (WIC) -Commissioner of the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Ali Suleiman is elected as member of the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption.

According to a statement the commission sent to ENA, Commissioner Ali was elected at the 28th regular meeting of the AU held on January 28, 2013.  Ali will serve for two years.

The Commission said this indicates acknowledgment given to Ethiopia's commitment in the fight against corruption.

Including Ali, eleven members are elected from Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Burundi, Libya, Mali, Benin, Tanzania, Congo and Nigeria.
