Addis Ababa, January 31 (WIC) - Ethiopia earned over 130 million US dollars from the manufacturing sector in the first half of the Ethiopian budget year, according to the Ministry of Industry.
Ministry Public Relations Directorate Director, Melaku Taye, the revenue was secured from textiles and garment, leather and leather products, agro processing, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
According to Melaku, the revenue missed target compared to the same period the previous budget year.
Ethiopia set a target to earn 542 million US dollars from the sector this budget year, it was noted.
