Ethiopia, Russia to strengthen economic ties

Addis Ababa, January 30 (WIC) - Russia wants to extend its strong political ties with Ethiopia to economic sector too, the country’s deputy Foreign Affairs Minister said on Wednesday.

While holding talks with Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Michael Bogdanov said his country wants to reinforce his long lasting people to people relations with Ethiopia.
Dr. Tedros on his part expressed Ethiopia’s readiness to work with Russia in investment, technology transfer and trade sectors.
