Buna Bank opens 25th branch in Gambella town

Gambella, December 31 (WIC) – Buna International Bank S.C opened its 25th branch in Gambella town yesterday.

Gambella State Chief’s Office and Cabinet Affairs Head, Tomas Tut, on the occasion said the opening of the branch would help to expedite development, attract more investment and create job opportunities.

“The bank’s decision to open its branch in Gambella town is due to the ample investment and trade activities in the state,” Board Chairperson of Buna International Bank, Marshal Fikremarkos, said.

He added the branch would also help natives of the state residing aboard and at home to use the bank for their investment activities.
The bank has provided over 1.5 billion birr loan to more than 400 investors since its establishment three years ago.

According to Marshal, the bank has finalized preparations to open 10 branches this budget year.
