ACCSA, Embassy sign 70 million Birr grant agreement

Addis Ababa December 12 (WIC) -The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ACCSA) signed a grant agreement amounting to 70 million Birr with the Embassy of the Netherlands.

The grant will be used for establishment of a center for agricultural products marketing.

AACCSA President Ayalew Zegeye and Ambassador of Netherlands to Ethiopia, Hans Blankenberg signed the agreement.

Ayalew on the occasion said the center will help to attract foreign direct investment and also increase participants of domestic agricultural products marketing.

Ambassador Blankenberg also said establishment of the center will enable Ethiopian agricultural products penetrate EU member countries and others.

According to ENA, the Embassy will provide support for the center for three years, the Ambassador said.
