Road construction creates over 3000 jobs

Addis Ababa, December 7 (WIC) – The construction of roads being undertaken in different woredas of Afar State created jobs for more than 3000 residents.

Some of the beneficiaries, Abdu Se'id, Zehara Hussein and Yasin Abdi told ENA that they managed to improve their livelihoods through engaging in the road construction activity.
The residents also said that construction of the roads helped them benefit from infrastructure development including safe water, electric power and other social services, among others.
Some of the roads being constructed in the state include the 133km Semera-Didiglala, the 118km Afdera-Erebti and also Abeala-Erebti. (ENA)
