DPM Demeke holds talks with Zimbabwean counterpart

Addis Ababa, November 24, 2012 (WIC)¬ Ethiopia has been doing its level best to ensure the benefits of women and accomplish the Millennium Development Goals in education, health and agriculture sectors, says Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Demeke Mekonnen.

The Deputy PM made the remark on Friday in Addis Ababa while holding talks with his Zimbabwean counterpart, Thokozani Khupe.

Demeke also told Khupe that Ethiopia is on the right track to accomplish the Millennium Development Goals for the stated sectors.

The Zimbabwean Deputy PM called on the leadership in Africa to remain committed to the cause of ensuring the benefits of women from ongoing development endeavors.
