Addis Ababa, November 20, 2012 (WIC) - The 5th Ethio-Chamber International Trade Fair stimulates the expansion of new local industries that produce competitive industrial products, the Ministry of Industry said.
The week long Trade Fair organized by the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA) under the theme “Accelerating Industrialization for Boosting Intra-Africa Trade” concluded here Sunday.
In a message delivered through a representative, Industry State Minister Tadesse Haile said the trade fair has a paramount importance in promoting the vast trade and investment potentials of the nation.
Tadesse said the trade fair was a good opportunity for micro and small scale enterprises, youth associations and cooperatives to display their products and narrow the gap in their business information.
According to ENA, it was also aimed at enhancing the participation and market linkage of Small and Micro Enterprises with medium and large enterprises, he said. ECCSA President, Mulu Solomon on her part said the trade fair contributed in the ongoing efforts to build good images of the country side by side promoting Ethiopian products.
