Regional gov’t resolute to realize Premier’s vision

Addis Ababa, September 12/2012  (WIC) - The Gambella State reaffirmed commitment in coordinating public resources to speed up ongoing development charted out by the late PM Meles Zenawi.

In a New Year message he conveyed the State Chief Umod Ubong said his administration would continue its efforts to ensure sustainable development in the state. He said the regional government would intensify effort to sustain the move forward to realize the renaissance of the country envisioned by the late PM Meles. He said the implementation of villagization program over the last two years has enabled the people access to various infrastructures.

Earlier, he said, villages were scattered and denied for access to infrastructures. The state chief said the programs would be implemented in the New Year to benefit more people from the development activities.

He said the regional government would be exerting relentless efforts to further enhance good governances and development endeavors. Umod wishes the New Year to bring peace, health, growth and prosperity for the people of Ethiopia.
