Deputy PM holds discussion with Sudanese FM

Addis Ababa, August 6 (WIC) - The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn, held talks on Friday at his office with the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Ali Ahmed Karti.

The two sides discussed on ways of further reinforcing the existing strong relations of Ethiopia and Sudan.

During the discussion, Karti explained the ongoing peace negotiation between his country and the Republic of South Sudan to resolve their disputes peacefully.

He commended the position of Ethiopia on the two countries and said he was pleased that the Deputy Prime Minister was closely following the ongoing peace negotiation in Addis Ababa.
