Ethiopian Parliament approves 3 bills

Addis Ababa, July 17 (WIC) – Ethiopian Parliament approved three bills on July 16, 2012.

Accordingly, the Parliament endorsed with one abstention the bill for 2005 EC federal government budget.

It approved the bill after looking into report and recommendation presented by the Budgetary and Financial Affairs Standing Committee.

The Parliament also endorsed the proclamation on khat Excise Tax, which helps to ensure equity in the collection of tax payable on khat.

Same day, it approved the bill on Export Trade Duty Incentive Schemes.
