Front hails 21-year economic advancement

Addis Ababa, May 27 (WIC) – Ethiopia has registered a remarkable growth in the political, economy and social sectors during the last 21 years, the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) Secretariat said.

Head of EPRDF Secretariat, Redwan Hussen, told WIC in connection with the 21st anniversary of Ginbot 20, (May 28), that amazing advancement in the expansion of health, education and road facilities was made during the past two decades . 

He said the economic progresses witnessed in the country over the past 21 years are the direct results of the correct development policies of the government.

He further attributed the economic growth to the unity of nations, nationalities and people of the country.

He added the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front in partnership with the public would exert utmost effort to sustain the ongoing speedy economic growth.


Redwan pointed out that Ethiopia managed to create good relationships with a number of countries following the collapse of the Derg regime. 

Redwan finally called on Ethiopians to safeguard the gains of May 28 victories and do their part for the sustainability of the ongoing speedy economic growth.
