State chief announces change of office hours PDF Print E-mail

February 9, 2010 -- Chief of the Gambela State Administration, Omod Obang announced on Monday change of office hours of the regional government as a result of the ever-escalating daily temperature in the region.

 

 

Omod told ENA that the new office hours of the state for the coming three months will be between 7:00 am and 11:30 am before noon, and between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm in the afternoon as of 08 Feb. 2010.

  

However, he said, office hours in the semi highland woredas of the state, Godere and Mengie Woredas, will remain unchanged – 7:00 am - 12:30 pm before noon, and 3:00-5:30 pm local time.

  According to the Acting Head of the Gambela Branch Office of the National Meteorology, Sisay Bekele the highest weakly day and night temperature of the region reached 43.5 Celsius, and 21.5 Celsius respectively. (ENA)
