24/11/2009 - Information and Communication Technology - The next African Union (AU) summit, scheduled for the beginning of next year in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will be devoted to Information and Communication Technology (ICT), notably its development prospects on the African continent, according to the AU Commissi oner for Human Resources, Sciences and Technology, Jean-Pierre Ezin.

Addressing journalists here Monday, after a meeting with the Tunisian Prime Minister, Mohamed Ghannouchi, Ezin hailed the interest of the Tunisian authorities in the summit theme.

The AU official's trip to Tunisia coincides with the holding in the country of an international forum on ICT. (AFRIQUEJET)
