Togo keen to share Ethiopia's experience in infrastructute, civil aviation, air transport fields: Togolese minister PDF Print E-mail

Addis Ababa, August 18, 2009 (ENA) -Togolese Foreign Minister, Koffi Esaw expressed Togo’s keen interest in sharing Ethiopia’s rich experience in infrastructure development, civil aviation, and air transportation fields.  

 

Holding discussions with Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin here in Addis Ababa, Esaw said Togolese government is desirous to bolster the existing Ethio-Togo bilateral relations to a higher level, especially in the aviation industry.

 

The Togolese minister noted that Ethiopia has been registering remarkable achievements in infrastructure development, civil aviation, and air transport fields during the last few years.  

 

Esaw, who is here for a three-day working visit, will hold discussions with President Girma Woldegiorgis and with senior officials of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority and the Ethiopian, the national career.

 

The visiting foreign minister is expected to confer with senior executive officers of the Ethiopian on making Togo as center of operation for the airliner in providing efficient air transport service to West African countries.  

 

Foreign Minister Seyoum affirmed to his Togolese counterpart that Ethiopia is willing to share experiences with Togo in infrastructure development fields, especially in the construction of education, health, road, and housing development sectors.

 

Accordingly, he said, Ethiopian government will play its level best toward bolstering the existing Ethio-Togo bilateral cooperation to a higher level in the years ahead.
