Chief administrator stresses on exploiting investment alternatives PDF Print E-mail

Hawassa, July 8 (WIC) - Chief Administrator of the SNNP state noted that it is imperative to exert all efforts towards speeding up development by exploiting investment alternatives in the state.

 

Closing the annual investment joint consultative forum yesterday, Shiferaw Shigute, said that all concerned bodies should make every effort to speed up the development endeavors by focusing on investment alternatives in the state.      

 

Shiferaw also pointed out that the state’s government is undertaking various activities to strengthen the ongoing development by identifying investment alternatives and providing incentives to investors who are desirous to work in the state.        

 

Underlining the importance of the  forum, some of the investors for their part pointed out that they used to face challenges to swiftly engage in investment activities.    

 

Responding to questions raised by participants of the forum, Shiferaw said that the state’s government has put in place various incentives and is striving to tackle the challenges against investment development in the state.   

 

Close to 500 business people were awarded on forum for their active role in the development endeavors.
