Enterprise to implement BPR on 3 work processes

Addis Ababa, June 12 (WIC) – The Ethiopian Grain Trade Enterprise (EGTE) said it will implement business process re-engineering (BPR) on three selected work processes at the end of this month.
Speaking at a training organized to raise awareness of employees of the enterprise on BPR, enterprise General Manager, Berhane Haile said BPR would be applied on procurement and sell, supply and resource administration as well as on human resource development work processes.
He said BPR due to be implemented beginning the end of this month would help the enterprise become competitive in the global market and enhance benefit of farmers. Moreover, the implementation of BPR on the three work processes would have immense role in expediting the agricultural-led policy of the country, he added. The training was organized with a view to raising the awareness of employees of the enterprise on BPR, he said, adding employees are expected to offer efficient services to clients. According to Berhane, similar trainings would be given for workers of branch offices in various states. |
