Towns’ residents across nation vow to realize PM Meles vision
Addis Ababa, August 25/2012 (WIC) - Residents of various towns vowed to realize the vision of the great leader Prime Minister Meles Zenawi as they express their grief over the sudden death of the premier in special programs organized in the respective localities.
Accordingly, residents of Diredawa, Wolidya , Axum , Gondar ,Adigrat ,Sodo, Assossa, Dessie, Komblocha, Jimma, Nekmpete, Harar and Debretabor towns and their environs have expressed their deep griefs over the death of the premier.
They said though they loss the great leader, they reaffirmed their commitment to consolidate the achievements of various policies and strategies of PM Meles.
PM Meles was a great leader who dedicates his life to ensure development, democracy and good governance in the country, they said.
The residents expressed their conviction to respect and defend the constitutional system and to realize huge renaissance and development projects.
They said they would intensify efforts to the implementation of Growth and Transformation Plan that aims to improve the livelihood of the people of Ethiopia.
The residents said the relentless efforts of PM Meles in prompting Ethiopia in continental and global forums would be indelible.
According to ENA, various segments of the society have expressed their condolences at the special gatherings in the respective towns. Thousands of tearful residents were carries placard reading: Meles Your Legacy will Never Die” and We Love You and Honor You”.
