Faithfuls say ready to celebrate Eid Al -Fitr with Islamic festivity

Addis ababa July 17/ 2012 (WIC) -Muslims in Addis Ababa said they are prepared to celebrate the 1,433rd Eid Al -Fitr holiday according to the teachings of Islam.

Resident of the Addis Ababa City Fozia Suleiman told ENA on Thursday that she and her family are prepared to celebrate the holiday with spiritual festivity.

She said she will enjoy the Id festivity by visiting the poor, orphans and needy elderly and taking care of them.

According to her, the faithful should celebrate the festivity with tolerance, respect and compassion.

Fozia said the faithful should expose riots group which advance hidden agendas in the banner of Id celebration.

Another resident, Nejat Mehammed on her part said she is exercising her religion activities with out any problems as it enshrined in the constitution.

She said she is ready to celebrate the holiday as usual with blessings and joy.

As Islam is patience and social unity, she said the faithful should respect the value of the religion and should carry out tangible and meaningful activities for the people and the country.

She called on the faithful to celebrate the holiday with spiritual festivities by safeguarding themselves from riotous and politically motivated group.

The 1433rd Eid Al Fitre holiday would be celebrated in coming Saturday or Sunday.
