Addis Ababa, 15 August 2014 (WIC) - The passengers have spoken! The 2013-2014 cycle of the Passenger Choice Awards officially ended in June, and the finalists have been selected. The winners will be honored at the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Awards Ceremony, 15 September in Anaheim, California, USA.

The Passenger Choice Awards comprise 13 individual categories and were created to give the flying public a voice in the passenger experience. The survey is open each May and June at www.passengerchoiceawards.com, and passengers are encouraged to rate every flight they’ve taken.

“The Passenger Choice Awards is this industry’s way of finding out who’s exceeding passenger expectations, but it’s more than that; airlines can use the data and comments from each completed survey and use that information to actually improve the passenger experience,” said Dominic Green, chair of the APEX Awards Task Force. “We’re excited to find out who will take home the top honors at next month’s ceremony in California!”

In addition to the Passenger Choice Awards, the APEX Awards Ceremony will recognize industry innovation and contribution to the industry as part of the Avion Awards.

Ethiopian has been announced among the finalist in five of the 13 categories.
