President Mulatu calls US investors
Addis Ababa, 02 August 2014 (WIC) -– President Mulatu Teshome called upon US investors to make use of comfortable investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
The president, who has taken part in the 4th Ethio - US Business Forum held in Houston with the motto of “Strategic Partnership for Economic Development of Africa”, reminded that the two nations have long history of partnership, stating the expansion of industry zones and other opportunities being extended for investors, who show interests to invest in the country.
He reaffirmed that the government of Ethiopia is determined to offer the necessary supports.
Ending the Business and Investment Forum the delegation led by the president has left for Los Angeles, California, according to Ethiopian Foreign Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom.
320 American and 75 Ethiopian investors have participated in the forum.
According to FBC, one of the biggest companies in US – Chevron - is one of the companies those have showed interest to invest in Ethiopia.
