Amhara creates over 213,000 jobs

Addis Ababa, 10 April 2014 (WIC) - The Amhara Technique, Vocational and Enterprise Development Bureau said it has created job opportunities for more than 213,000 compatriots during the past eight months.
Bureau Public Relations Head, Zelalem Niguse, told the jobs were created in textile, metal and wood works as well as urban agricultural sectors, among others.
More than 76,800 of beneficiaries of the job opportunities are women, according to Zelalem.
The bureau has set a plan to create jobs for 396, 200 people this budget year, it was learnt.
