Bureau promotes close to 4,000 enterprises

Addis Ababa, 4 April 2014 (WIC) – Close to 4,000 small and micro enterprises (SME) in Amhara Regional State were promoted to from beginners up to middle developmental investor levels during the past eight years.

Amhara State Technical, Vocational and Enterprise Development Bureau Public Relations Core Process Head, Zelalem Niguse, told WIC the enterprises were promoted to various levels based on their developmental attitude, capital, skill and job creation, among others.

Efforts are also underway to promote other enterprises in the remaining months through providing the necessary support, he said.
