Mulatu holds talks with Chinese delegation

Addis Ababa, 4 April 2014 (WIC) - President Dr Mulatu Teshome yesterday held talks with a nine-member Chinese business delegation led by Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming.
During the occasion, Mulatu told the delegation that it will be a win-win situation for both countries, if Chinese companies are able to engage in textile and leather industries.
Textile and leather industries are the main priority areas of the country in the industry sector, since they are labor intensive.
He has also expressed wish that Chinese companies able to engage in food processing as well.
Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming on his part said China will work to improve investment in Ethiopia and ensure mutual benefit, according to a high level official who attended the meeting. (ENA)
