Ethiopia and Sudan keen to boost bilateral relations in commiunication

Addis Ababa, 12 March 2014 (WIC) – Ethiopia and Sudan keen to boost their bilateral relations in the field of communication.

Ministers of Communications in Ethiopia and Sudan last Monday discussed preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of communications and information technology.

The Ethiopian Minister, Rudwan Hussein, was briefed on the development communications and information technology sector in Sudan has gone through, placing the country among the most advanced in the region.

He expressed hope that his country would benefit from this experience.

In a separate development, the State Minister at the Ministry of Communications, Al-Sadiq Fadlalah discussed with the UNIDO delegation the latter's support to the first conference on Moringa production and usages scheduled to convene during the first half of current year.

He further said the research council policy is focused on production of fodder due to its nutritive value and cost. In its turn, the UNIDO delegation expressed preparedness to support efforts to produce and market Moringa. (
