Chief of Oromia Alemayehu resigns

Addis Ababa, 18 February 2014 (WIC) – Chief Administrator of the Oromia Regional State, Alemayehu Atomsa, has resigned due to illness.


His resignation has been accepted by the Executive Committee of his party, Oromo Peoples’ Democratic Organization (OPDO).


Alemayehu had worked at various positions in the regional state for several years.


He had also contributed a lot for the all-round development registered in the region during the past years, according to a statement issued by OPDO.
