Sudan Says Relations with Ethiopia "Pivotal"
Addis Ababa, 14 December 2013 (WIC) - The relations with Ethiopia are pivotal and are based on political, economic, security, and social dimensions, said Abdulrahman Sir Al-Khatim, ambassador of Sudan to Ethiopia.
He also called on the two countries to exploit their resources to create a power of African and international caliber.
The ambassador called on Sudan and Ethiopia to join their efforts in international platforms to create an African power forbidding interventions from any foreign country in the internal affairs of Africa.
He pointed out the unification of efforts recently shown in the continent in the face of the decisions of the UNSC and the International Criminal Court (ICC), with the latter facing a final judgment from the African Union in a meeting in January after it had become clear that the court targets and singles out African leaders.
The signed agreements will not be faced by any difficulties in implementation and the presidents of both countries have formed a mechanism to make sure of it, added the ambassador. (sudanvisiondaily)
