President Mulatu receives U.A.E. Ambassador
Addis Ababa, 13 December 2013 (WIC) - President Dr. Mulatu Teshome received the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Dr. Youssef Issa Hassan Al Sabri, at the National Palace on Wednesday.
Dr. Mulatu commended the prevailing cooperation and partnership between the two countries in various fields, particularly in economic and investment spheres.
He stressed that the present cooperation should be deepened and enhanced by increased participation of Emirati investors for mutual benefit of the two counties from the current economic growth of Ethiopia.
President Mulatu congratulated the people and government of U.A.E. on the event of the nation’s 42nd National Day.
He also requested Ambassador Al Sabri to convey his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Ambassador Al Sabri for his part noted the improvement of the bilateral cooperation and collaboration in economic and investment endeavors existing between Ethiopia and U.A.E.
Ethiopia’s bilateral relations with the U.A.E. are increasing in industry, trade, investment, and other economic fields.
