The first China-Africa trade expo opened
Addis Ababa, 6 December 2013 (WIC) - Chinese companies are exhibitions their products at the first China-Africa trade expo, which opened Thursday morning.
The expo is believed to boost the trade relations of Africa and China by serving as a means to widen market opportunities, About 130 companies are participating
Various Chinese manufacturers do organize trade expo in different countries to promote their products.
This time, Addis Ababa has become their choice to display their products at the first China-Africa trade expo.
Present at the opening of the expo, Ethiopian industry state minister Sisay Gemechu underscored that the expo would heighten the China-Africa business relation to a higher level. He added that the happening of the event here is a proof for the growing demand of Chinese businesses in Africa, particularly Ethiopia.
Mr. Xie Xiaoyan is Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, He expressesd belief that organizing the expo in Addis Ababa has been as his choice as Ethiopia is economically advancing.
According to ERTA, the China-Africa trade volume has reached 240 billion USD this bear and the investment flow between the two sides 20 billion USD in 2012.
