Forums introduce, promote Ethiopia’s achievements: GCAO
Addis Ababa, 18 August 2014 (WIC) – The 2014 Ethio-America Business and Investment and America-Africa Leaders Summit have created conducive atmosphere to introduce and promote Ethiopia’s achievements both in realizing sustainable economic development and ensuring lasting peace, GCAO said.
In a briefing to local journalists today, Minister of Government Communication Affairs Office (GCAO) Ato Redwan Hussien said both Forums ensured countries successes in economic and social developments as well as realizing peace in the region.
Recalling the participation of Ethiopian delegation led by President Mulatu Teshome in the Ethio-US Business and Investment Summit 2014, Ato Redwan said that the forum enabled indigenous Ethiopian investors to share experiences with potential investors running international companies.
The experience of successful Foreign Companies Investing in Ethiopia was also presented in the Forum, which could enhance the influx more investors to Ethiopia, he added.
The Forum also helped to show the success of members of the Ethiopian Diaspora investing in various sectors in the country, the minister said, adding that could create an opportunity for domestic investors form shared-business with Foreign Investors.
In the America-Africa Leaders Summit held in Washington DC, August 4 -6/2014, Ethiopia was chosen as a model from other African countries and shared its experiences in registering fast and sustainable green economic development, the minister added.
