Hawassa, May 12 (WIC) - The SNNP State Micro and Small-Scale Enterprises Agency disclosed that it has reportedly been undertaking the construction of manufacturing and selling centers with an outlay of 270 million birr so as to ease problems of micro and small-scale enterprises.Agency Manager Gebremeskel Chala told WIC that the agency constructing the buildings in 44 selected towns in the state to reliably solve the problem.
Besides, one-stop shop services have been delivered to the enterprises in some 128 selected places in the state, the manager added.
Over 67,000 people organized under micro and small-scale enterprises in the state have been engaged in various income-generating sectors during the past nine months, Gebremeskel further indicated.
Besides, efforts are being made to enable the youth become fruitful by providing loan services as well as various trainings, it was pointed out.
Over 89 percent of the 67 million birr loan disbursed to the enterprises has been reimbursed, he said, further adding that the agency has reportedly been disbursing some 200 million birr loan.
