Over 3,500 organized youth in Hadiya zone engaged in various income-generating schemes
Department Head Melesse Eyem told WIC that the youth have embarked upon production of sand and brick, precast beam as well as installation of electric and water pipe lines, among others.
Trainings were also provided to the youth to augment their capacity, the head indicated adding that raw materials and loan facilities were also facilitated to them.
The youth have currently been improving their livelihoods, Melesse further noted.
The town and zonal administrations have been providing immense support to the youth by closely following their activities and solving problems, it was learnt.
