Housing dev’t program creates over 59,000 jobs in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, March 27 (WIC) – The ongoing integrated housing development program in the capital city has created more than 59,000 jobs to compatriots, according to the Addis Ababa City Housing Development Project Office.

Office Public Relations Head, Betru Lakew, told WIC that of the 59,087 beneficiaries 27,760 are female.

He said the beneficiaries have been organized under 766 enterprises.

The office has been building the capacity of the enterprises by providing production places, loan and training, the head concluded.
