PM to attend NEPAD summit in Senegal

Addis Ababa, April 14, 2008 (WIC) - A high level delegation led by Prime Minister Meles Zenawi reportedly left for Dakar, Senegal, today to attend the NEPAD summit.

The delegation was seen off by senior government officials at the Addis Ababa International Airport, according to the Ethiopian News Agency.

The meeting is expected to kick off on Tuesday, it was learnt

Prime Minister Meles has served as chairperson of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
