Civil Service College to launch five post-graduate programs this month |

Addis Ababa, March 06,
2007 (WIC) – The Ethiopian Civil Service College said it would launch five post-graduate programs, out of which two are new to the country, by the end of this month. College Public and External Relations Head, Dr Tesfay Solomon, told WIC recently that the programs to be introduced are in the fields of Public Financial Management, Development Economics, Urban Management, International Law, and Comparative Public Law and Good Governance. Of those ''Public Financial Management and Development Economics are new not only for the college, but also to the country,'' according to the head. Around 500 students would be enrolled to study for their master's degree, he stated. The college also envisages launching a new post-graduate program in Leadership Development next academic year, the head further indicated. The college has reportedly recruited 25 teachers from Asia, Europe and African countries in addition to its staff for the new programs. |
